About me
I'm Naveen Kumar and I am popularly known as Naveen Banoudha. I've earned degrees in Science and a
Masters in Rural Development. My love for birds has led me to embrace roles as a bird enthusiast,
wildlife conservationist, wildlife photographer, and writer. Currently, I'm deeply engrossed in a
variety of projects revolving around the realm of wildlife conservation.
Ibelong to Ayodhya city (formerly Faizabad).
Currently, I serve as
an officer from the Uttar Pradesh Secretariat Services 2013 batch,
holding the position of Review Officer to the Deputy Chief Minister in the Government of Uttar
Pradesh. My journey includes dedicated service to both the Central and State Governments. My
educational background comprises a degree in Education, another in Sociology, and a Diploma in Human
Rights. My love for writing and photography sprouted during my preparation for the Civil Services
Examination, and over time, this interest transformed into a passionate pursuit. I've established
galleries showcasing photographs of birds I've captured at various locations. My lens has been a
gateway to portraying avian beauty and sharing it with others.
I'm thrilled to share that the Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh has established a permanent
gallery to showcase my photographs. This gallery finds its home at the Environmental Convention
Center, marking the inauguration of the Mahadeva ecotourism initiative in Barabanki district. This
significant event took place on March 22, 2023, coinciding with World Biodiversity Day.
I've been deeply involved in bird conservation efforts within Barabanki district. My focus has
centered around preserving various lake areas in the region. One of my major endeavors has been to
secure the declaration of the Sarai Barai lake, nestled in the Ram Sanehi Ghat forest area of
Barabanki district, as a designated bird sanctuary. It's a journey I'm passionately committed to, as
I work diligently to provide these precious avian inhabitants with a safe haven.
